Dr. (Mrs.) Adijat Bolanle Ibraheem
Veteran Academic Leader and Expert in Statistics and Education
Dr. (Mrs.) Adijat Bolanle Ibraheem is a highly respected academic and seasoned leader
with over four decades of experience in higher education. Throughout her distinguished
career, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape of Kwara State
Polytechnic, where she retired as Chief Lecturer in the Department of Statistics. Her
extensive knowledge and leadership have not only enriched the lives of her students but
also contributed to the advancement of education in Nigeria.
Academic Qualifications:
Dr. Ibraheem’s academic credentials reflect her commitment to continuous learning and
excellence. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Statistics, a Master of Science
(M.Sc.) in Statistics, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Bachelor of
Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics and Statistics. Additionally, she has earned a
Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), showcasing her dedication to teaching and
academic development.
Professional Experience:
Over the course of her career, Dr. Ibraheem has built a reputation as a highly skilled
educator and a knowledgeable statistician. She spent over 30 years at Kwara State
Polytechnic, where she rose through the ranks from Lecturer to Chief Lecturer, making
significant contributions to the Department of Statistics. As a result of her strong
academic foundation and leadership abilities, she was entrusted with various
administrative responsibilities, including serving as Head of Department, Director of
Institute of Business and Vocational Studies and later as Director of the
Entrepreneurship Development Centre. In these roles, she demonstrated exceptional
leadership, strategic vision, and a commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial
mindset among students.

Kolapo Alaba Abiodun
stands as a man of many parts — a consummate communicator,
visionary entrepreneur, and compassionate philanthropist whose journey through life reflects resilience, brilliance, and an undying devotion to humanity.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language from the prestigious Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria — now Olabisi Onabanjo University — in 1990. Driven by an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and mastery of communication, he further obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos in 1997, complementing these academic achievements with several professional certifications across diverse fields.
Kolapo began his career in the dynamic world of journalism, where his eloquence, depth of thought, and analytical prowess quickly set him apart. He worked in various health-related publications, occupying editorial and management positions that honed his leadership and communication skills.
After a distinguished stint in journalism, he transitioned into corporate communications, where his professional excellence blossomed. Between 2007 and 2012, he rose through the ranks to become the Group Head, Corporate Communications at Negris Group, a proudly Nigerian conglomerate with significant investments in the energy, oil, and gas sectors. In this role, he combined strategy with storytelling, shaping corporate reputation and stakeholder engagement with uncommon finesse.
Guided by a restless entrepreneurial spirit, Kolapo Abiodun established successful enterprises across multiple sectors. His business interests span commercial transportation, agriculture, real estate management, wholesale and distribution of lubricants, and commercial printing and book publishing. His ventures are a testament to his strategic insight, work ethic, and beliefin creating value through innovation and diligence.
Kolapo is a proud member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the
Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON). His leadership qualities
were recognized when he served as the Chairman of the Association of Professional Printers of Nigeria, Alimosho Local Government Area Lagos, Nigeria, afrom 2017 to 2020, where he championed professionalism, mentorship, and unity among industry practitioners.
Beyond the boardroom and business sphere, Kolapo Abiodun is a revered community leader whose heart beats for service. His tenure as President of the Diamond Estate Residents Association (DERA) from 2012 to 2016 was marked by developmental projects, communal harmony, and infrastructural advancement. His leadership left enduring footprints of progress and empowerment within his community.
In 2020, life presented an unexpected twist when Kolapo became visually impaired, an indirect consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic. The setback altered the course of his life dramatically — he lost his thriving businesses and expended substantial resources on medical interventions.
Yet, like gold refined by fire, his spirit remained unbroken.
Refusing to be subdued by adversity, he reinvented himself and redefined his purpose. With renewed faith and determination, he channeled his energy into what he loved most — philanthropy and service to humanity. This time, his focus turned toward empowering the visually impaired, offering them not just hope but tangible support.
Thus was born the Arike Eye Care Support Foundation, a noble initiative dedicated to
providing financial assistance, medical interventions, and empowerment opportunities for
visually impaired individuals. Through this foundation, Kolapo Abiodun continues to light the path for many walking through the shadows of visual disability, proving that true sight lies not in the eyes, but in the heart.
Kolapo Abiodun is happily married and blessed with wonderful children, who remain his
unwavering pillars of strength and inspiration. His family’s support continues to fortify his
resolve as he walks his path of renewed purpose and impact.

Barr (Mrs) Olaniyan Olayinka is a highly accomplished professional with over
25 years experience & strong background in law. She had her early days academics at Adeola model school Offa, Kwara State & obtained the school leaving certificate , she obtained her Secondary schoo leducation at Queen Elizabeth School ilorin Kwara state
She attended Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where she obtained her Diploma in law (ND) meanwhile in her quest for knowledge she bagged Bachelor’s degree(LL.B Hons) in law from University of Maiduguri, Borno state with Second Class ( upper division)& proceeded to the Nigerian law school, Abuja campus which lead her to be called into the Nigerian Bar and become a Barrister and solicitor of the supreme court of Nigeria & later had her Master in law ( LL.M International law & Diplomacy) from Nassarawa state University Keffi

Olubukola Aderonke AJOMALE
Born in Lagos on 19th February into the Christian family of late Barrister Taiwo and Morenike Ajomale. She is the third of four siblings.
Bukky, as she is fondly called, attended Army Childrens’ School, Ikeja Cantonment, Lagos for her primary education and thereafter, she proceeded to Girls Secondary Grammar School, (now known as Eva Adelaja Girls Secondary School) Bariga for her Secondary school education. This step of her education culminated at Reagan Memorial Girls Secondary School, Yaba and the Methodist Girls High School, Yaba where she obtained her Ordinary School Certificate and Higher School Certificate (HSC) respectively.
In 1983, she gained admission into Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye to study English Language. She graduated in 1987 and proceeded to take part in the compulsory NYSC programme. She was posted to Lagos State and served at Wema Bank, Dopemu Branch.
After her service year, she proceeded to Speedwriting International College, Ikeja where she obtained a Diploma in Secretarial Studies.
Bukky began working with a soft sell magazine, LifeStyle Magazine as Features Editor where she cut her teeth in journalism but unfortunately did not take it up as a career. Following this short stint as a journalist, she left to work as a Personal Aasistant to the Managing Director of an architectural firm in Ikeja Lagos and it was from here that she left to join FSB International Bank (now Fidelity Bank), Awolowo Road, Ikoyi as the Personal Assistant to the General Manager (Operations).
While at the Bank, her bosses took note of her commitment and dedication to duty and therefore recommended her deployment into mainstream Banking Operations during which she was able to participate in several Banking courses and worked in different departments of the Bank.
In 1996, she was transferred to the new Apapa Branch of the Bank to set up the Customer Service Department and was subsequently promoted to Head, Banking Operations Department.
She won several awards in the course of her duty as appreciation for her hard work and commitment.
Bukky resigned from her job in 1998 to concentrate on her young family. In December 2000, she started her textile entrepreneurial journey, after her mother and grandmother who were also textile merchants.
Bukky has served the National Executive Council of the OSU/OOU Alumni Association as National Vice President, South between 2014 and 2016.
A devout Christian, she worships at the Archbishop Vinning Memorial Church Catheral, GRA Ikeja where she belongs to two societies, The Apostles of Peace Society, where she is currently serving as the Vice President and The Christian Morning Star Society.
Bukky is blessed with two wonderful children, Oluwagbeminiyi and Oluwademilade. She loves travelling, cooking and socialising.

Abiodun Oluwafunmito
Was born on December 18th. Attended Queen’s Choice Nursery and Primary School for my primary education and Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary for secondary school. Obtained my MBBS degree and an intercalated BSc in Biochemistry from Bowen University between 2016 and 2024.
Currently working as a doctor at Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital. Passionate about mental health and hope to specialize in psychiatry in the near future.

Otunba Ademuyiwa Onabanjo
Born 1st September, 1957. He started his primary education at St. Paul’s Primary School, Yemetu, Ibadan. He had his West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1975 at Prospect High School, Abanla, Ibadan. He proceeded to Ogun State College of Education, Ijebu-Ode (Now Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu) where he obtained Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE). On completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Ondo, he furthered his study at the then Ogun State University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye. He graduated with a B.A.(Hons) in Philosophy. He was the President of the Student Union of the University during the 1985/86 academic session.
Onabanjo worked with MAMSER, Federal Government agency between 1988 and 1990. He joined Source Advertising as Brand Manager in 1990. In 1992, he left to start his own business as he established a printing and publishing outfit-Marian Ajibola Associates. He became well known in the printing world through Marian Ajibola Associates that he headed for 15years. His legacy of hard work, honesty and corporate integrity stand him out amongst others. The business provided employment for over 100 Nigerians while it lasted.
In 2007, he left Nigeria for UK in search of greener pastures. He came back to Nigeria in 2014 and established Cyan Consulting Limited, a company that is still waxing stronger till date.
Otunba Ademuyiwa Onabanjo has contributed immensely to the development of his community and the betterment of mankind. He has always find himself in leadership position from Secondary School through University when he became the Union President. He strived to always leave his footprints at any position he find himself as can be attested to by those who knows him.
He is married to Dr (Mrs) Iyabode Onabanjo and blessed with children and grandchildren.

Oyenike Wulemot Abiodun, B.Sc., MBA, FCIB
Born on December 5. I earned my first degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria in 1990, followed by my mandatory national youth service in Ogun State from 1990 to 1991. In 2002, I completed my Master’s in Business Administration at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri and became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in 2016.
I began my career in 1992, shortly after my youth service, working as an Account Officer at a construction company until 1995. I then joined Wema Bank, where I worked from 1995 to 2006, and I am currently employed at First Bank. My banking experience spans various departments at both the branch and head office levels.
I have an entrepreneurial mindset and philanthropic in spirit.

Yomi Odunuga
started his journalism career with The Punch newspapers as a Proof Reader. He was the Abuja Bureau Chief and Deputy Editor (Nation’s Capital) of THE NATION newspapers.
Born on June 2, 1966, Mr Odunuga a poet, lyricist, reporter, and columnist, started his journalism career with the PUNCH newspaper over twenty seven years ago. He was, for several years, the State House Correspondent of the paper where he maintained two columns–Life in Abuja and the popular weekend treat called Inside Aso Rock.
His insightful and critical analysis of the intriguing politics of that period earned him accolades and recognition which later saw him being promoted to the position of Abuja Bureau Chief of The PUNCH newspaper.
In 2006, he was elevated to the position of Group Political Editor of The PUNCH. He later joined THE NATION newspaper as an Assistant Editor and Bureau Chief in Abuja. At THE NATION, his rested PUNCH newspaper column, Knuckles, transformed into Knucklehead, which offers him the opportunity to continue his weekly interrogation and critique of the socio-political developments in the polity.
After completing his tour of duty at the National Assembly as Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, he returned to the newsroom of The NATION newspapers as a Deputy Editor charged with the responsibility of conducting special interviews in addition to writing incisive and analytical articles.

OLUKUNLE AKIN ADISA MAUTIN
Renowned Public Relations expert, Olukunle Akin has established himself as a leading figure in Nigeria’s aviation and transport sectors. With over 25 years of experience, he has developed innovative solutions to boost productivity in these industries.
He is a former General Manager, Public Affairs of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), which manages 23 airports in the country.
As a Communications Professional and Chief Image Maker of FAAN between 2007 and 2012, Olukunle projected a positive image for the nation’s Airport Operators through a combination of interactive events, corporate productions, policies and robust engagement with the media, both local and international.
Highly experienced in advanced protocols management, team-building and corporate strategies, he significantly grew the clientele base of Passenger Support Service – a unit of the Protocol and Passages Department of FAAN, he pioneered and headed between 2012 and 2015 from 24 to over 55 clients (average) in each of the four international airports, deploying his training in corporate communications. He also facilitated the revenue generation for FAAN through its PSS from N150m in 2012 to over N400m in 2013.
Consequent upon his sojourn in the public sector, Olukunle began the publication of a quarterly magazine- Transglob-A, with its core focus on the aviation and transport industries.
The consummate publication has remained an industry leader with special skills in clearly communicating corporate positions and goals. Transglob-A is credited with improving the corporate images of over 10 companies in the public and private sectors; the training of over 100 young journalists; and with its agro-allied services, ensured the empowerment of over 200 unemployed youth in crop plantation and animal husbandry in Ogun and Lagos States.
Olukunle holds a Master’s degree in Transport Studies; a Bachelor of Arts (Combined Hons) in English/Philosophy from the prestigious Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), Ago-Iwoye in 2001 and 1990; and a National Diploma in Mass Communications, Ogun State Polytechnic (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic), Abeokuta in 1983.
In addition to his professional experience, he participated in numerous local and international training programmes and initiatives within the aviation and transport industries.
Olukunle started his professional career in 1991 as a journalist with the flagship of the Nigerian Press, The Guardian. In 1993, he joined The Punch, where he worked as a Chief Correspondent and was appointed Head of the newspaper’s Transport Desk, which gave extensive coverage to the aviation, transport and maritime sectors of the economy. He had many exclusive and award winning stories to his credit.
Olukunle holds memberships in several professional bodies, including NIPR, NUJ, and has twice served as Chairman of the League of Airports and Aviation Correspondents (LAAC).
He was born on February 23, in the 60s in Badagry, Lagos State.
